Simcoe County Housing Corporation Board

That the agenda for the April 24, 2018 meeting of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation Board, be approved as circulated.

That the minutes of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation Board meeting held April 10, 2018, be adopted as presented.

That the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Shareholders of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC) be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018; and That the Clerk issue the required notice to the Auditor and Shareholders of the SCHC; and That Item HCB 18-005, dated April 24, 2018 be presented to the Tuesday May 8, 2018 Annual Meeting of the Shareholders for consideration of the following recommendations: 1. That the officials named in Schedule 1 to Item HCB Item 18-005, be appointed as Directors of the SCHC; and 2. That Collins Barrow Chartered Accountants, LLP, be appointed as auditors of SCHC; and 3. That the 2018 budget of SCHC as approved by Council for the County of Simcoe, attached as Schedule 2 to Item HCB 18-005, be approved; and 4. That the actions undertaken in 2017 by SCHC Board of Directors, be ratified.

That Item HCB 18-006, dated April 24, 2018 regarding the 2017 Fourth Quarter Report, be received.

That Item HCB 18-007, dated April 24, 2018 regarding Simcoe County Housing Corporation By-law Update and Appointment of Officers, be received; and That the draft By-law No. 2, substantively in the form attached as Schedule 1 to HCB 18-007 relating to the conduct of the business and affairs of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation, be enacted; and That the following County positions be appointed as officers of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC) as follows: • County Warden be appointed as SCHC President • County GM of Social and Community Services be appointed as SCHC General Manager • County Clerk be appointed as SCHC Secretary • County Treasurer be appointed as SCHC Treasurer

That the April 24, 2018 meeting of the Simcoe County Housing Corporation Board be adjourned at 10:10 a.m.
