That Item GOV 2024-211, dated October 15, 2024 regarding Governance Workshop Follow-up – Council Compensation Options, be received; and That the yearly adjustments to Council base salary levels be applied by foregoing an annual COLA adjustment and applying a percentage equal to the average of the County of Simcoe non-union salary band adjustments, to take effect immediately for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council; and That the necessary by-law be presented to set compensation paid to Members of Council; and That the following direction take effect at the beginning of the 2026-2030 term of Council: That Option 1 within report GOV 2024-211 regarding the base salary for the Warden, and base salary and per diem rates for Councillors, be approved; and That the base salary for the Deputy Warden be maintained at $55,041.
