Whereas County Council gave Governance Committee direction to review and explore options of a full-time Warden and Deputy Warden; it is recommended That County Council reconsider Council Composition to permit deliberations regarding a fully-dedicated Warden; and That the Governance Committee report regarding a fully-dedicated Warden be completed under a draft framework of: Option 1: creating either a reduction of County Council to 17 members ( 16 members elected to the Lower tier municipal council) including a fully-dedicated Warden or Option 2: an increase to a 33 member council, including a fully-dedicated Warden; and That Governance Committee report back on other considerations following any direction received.
