Burton That the agenda for the March 12, 2019, meeting of the Economic Development Sub-Committee, be approved as circulated.

That Item EDS 2019-073, dated March 12, 2019, regarding the County of Simcoe’s Industrial Development Charges Abatement Program and By-Law, be received; and That By-Law No. 6342 be amended to allow for the continuation of the Industrial Development Charge Abatement Program until January 2024; and That staff report back to the Economic Development Sub-Committee of the potential exemption / inclusion of Industrial and Commercial Development Charges for major tourism locations or economic regions such as portions of the Town of Wasaga Beach; and That staff provide a further update on By-Law 6342 in 2023.

Barry Burton That Item EDS 2019-094, dated March 12, 2019, regarding the Regional Agriculture and Agri-Food Value Chain Business Retention & Expansion Study and Work Plans, be received; and That County of Simcoe Agriculture and Agri-Food Value Chain Work Plans, as substantively outlined in the subject report, be approved for implementation.

Barry Burton That Item EDS 2019–099, dated March 12, 2019, regarding the 2019 In-Market Support Special Project Fund, be received; and That the Economic Development Sub-Committee review the applications and recommendations for the disbursement of the 2019 fund; and That subject to deliberations in the affirmative, that the recommendations as provided for in Table I of the subject report, be approved.
