Economic Development Sub-Committee

That the agenda for the March 13, 2018 meeting of the Economic Development Sub-Committee, be approved as circulated.

That Item EDS 18-008, dated March 13, 2018 regarding the 2018 Tourism Simcoe County Work Plan, be received; and That the proposed 2018 Tourism Simcoe County Work Plan as outlined in Item EDS 18-008, be approved.

That Item EDS 18-010, dated March 13, 2018 regarding the 2018 Economic Development Office Proposed Work Plan Update, be received; and That the proposed 2018 Economic Development Office work plan as outlined in Item EDS 18-010, be approved.

That Item EDS 18-012, dated March 13, 2018 regarding the Economic Development Transitional Funding Program – Year 2 Progress Report from the Town of Wasaga Beach, be received.

That Item EDS 18-013, dated March 13, 2018 regarding the 2018 In-Market Support Special Project Fund, be received; and That the 2018 funding recommendations as generally outlined in Item EDS 18-013, be implemented as follows:  Application 1: Centre for Business and Economic Development & South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre - $26,220  Application 2: Orillia Area Community Development Corporation - $50,280. As well as a pre-commitment of 2019 funds in the same amount ($50,280).  Application 3: Town of Innisfil - $0  Application 4: Sandbox - $20,000  Application 5: Lakehead University - $3,500

That the March 13, 2018 meeting of the Economic Development Sub-Committee be adjourned at 12:55 p.m.
