Audit and Finance Committee

That the agenda for the February 12, 2020, meeting of the Audit and Finance Committee, be approved.

That Item AUC 2020-047, dated February 12, 2020, regarding the 2021 Budget Document Changes, be received; and That the recommended changes to the 2021 Budget document, as generally outlined in the subject Item, along with those items as discussed, which included a summary document related to grants and donations, be approved.

That Item AUC 2020-053, dated February 12, 2020, regarding the County’s Insurance programs, be received.

That Item AUC 2020-054, dated February 12, 2020, regarding Financial Policies, be received.

That Item AUC 2020-055, dated February 12, 2020, regarding Compliance and External Audit Results, be received.

That Item AUC 2020-056, dated February 12, 2020, regarding Municipal Asset Management Planning Regulation, be received.

That Item AUC 2020-067, February 12, 2020, regarding the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ – Municipal Asset Management Program Funding Application, be received; and That staff apply for a grant opportunity from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Municipal (FCM) Asset Management Program for Asset Management Software Implementation Services; and That in accordance with FCM’s application requirements, the County of Simcoe commits to conducting eligible activities as outlined in its submission and its commitment of up to $500,000 toward the Asset Management Program, as approved in the 2020 Budget.

That the February 12, 2020, meeting of the Audit and Finance Committee be adjourned at 2:12 p.m.
