Accessibility Advisory Committee

That the agenda for the November 5, 2024 meeting of the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee be approved.

That the 2025 Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee Work Plan include a project to review staff reports, presentations and agendas for greater accessibility and clear language standards.

That Item AAC 2025-227, dated November 5, 2024, regarding the Draft 2025 Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee Work Plan, be received; and That, subject to any modifications by the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee, the 2025 Work Plan attached as Schedule 1 to Item AAC 2024-227, be approved; and That the 2025 Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee Work Plan include a project to review staff reports, presentations and agendas for greater accessibility and clear language standards.

That Item AAC 2024-084, dated November 5, 2024 regarding the Accessibility Facility Review Checklist Update, be received; and That, subject to deliberations in the affirmative, changes to the Facility Review Checklist as generally outlined in Item AAC 2024-084, be approved.

That the AODA 20th Anniversary Event Update be received; and That staff begin preparation of an AODA 20th Anniversary Event in spring 2025 that includes the installation of a permanent recognition piece.

That the memo from the Deputy Clerk regarding Springwater’s 2023 Annual Accessibility Status Report dated November 5, 2024, be received.

That the November 5, 2024 meeting of the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee be adjourned at 11:55 a.m.
